ORAL PRESENTER GUIDELINES

(Use of own your computer is NOT allowed)

Oral sessions are live sessions moderated by a chairperson who will manage the questionsand timing.
Each presentation should be an absolute maximum of 12 minutes.
• Additional 3 minutes should be allowed for questions.

Power Point guidelines
• If you use visuals, please embed them directly in the PowerPoint file.
• We recommend no more than 1 slide per minute of presentation time.
• Upload your file as a POWER POINT file. (Other programs are not supported)
• Extremely heavy files must be tested well in advance.
- Use sans serif fonts (e.g., Ariel or Calibri, rather than Times New Roman)
- Texts should be visible from 20m and must match the speech.
- Ensure a good color contrast, particularly between the text and background

Before your session
• We encourage you to rehearse to boost your confidence and to ensure your sessionruns to time.
• Please don’t forget to take an extra copy of your presentation. (USB-memory stick,Drobox, etc.).
Speakers scheduled on Monday 12th, must send their presentations to isfsi2022@nord.no by Friday 9, December using a file transfer service (E.g.,WeTransfer or Dropbox).
• For speakers scheduled on other days, load your presentation at the Presenters Desk ONE DAY in advance of your talk.

On the day
• Please be there 15 minutes before the session start time.
• Get familiar with the audio, remote control, and laser pointer.

Also, you can include a short-PRERECORDED video stored at YOUTUBE or VIMEO

(Uploading an e-poster is MANDATORY, but not the accompanying video)
Electronic poster (e-poster) presentation will be available online only.

LIVE 3 min presentation of e-poster
• A FLASH TALK will be pitched with max. three pptx slides.
• Only authors who signed in (Highlighted green in the program).

Deadline
• The deadline for submission of E-poster and flash presentations is by December 7,2022, 16:00 h, CET (no exception).
• File name: Presenter´s surname and poster number following the program.

E-poster Format (PORTRAIT orientation)
Optional template provided (.pptx file in attach)
• A well-constructed poster must be brief, clear, and concise.
• File format: PDF (one page only)
• Font size: minimum 16 points

Follow the instructions below for guidance.
• To accept an e-poster submission into the virtual conference you must be a registered delegate in full stand. (USE THE SAME E-MAIL AS IN THE REGISTRATION!!)
• Provide clear headings.
• Video/Audio formats supported: .mov, .mp4, .mpeg,.avi
• File size: maximum 20 MBs
• For supplemental information, we recommend including it in a QR code.

*NOTE. Once the form has been submitted it cannot be re-submitted again.

Specs: They may look tiny at the first impression. Since the e-posters are going to getpresented digitally, the pixel-based dimensions are relevant. Make sure that the quality of thee-poster stays sharp when using the zooming gesture.

Any textual description you want to add regarding the poster topic

It's a thumbnail image of the poster
This could be the image of the poster also
It should be in JPEG or PNG format and should be of 300x300 pixels

Reference figure of how the poster will look into the virtual environment.
