The pandemic and official restrictions have effectively forced us to cancel the congress in June 2020. We regret any inconvenience the cancellation may cause. Many prominent speakers were willing to contribute to the scientific sessions and 90 submitted abstracts were accepted for poster presentation. The diagnostic industry and sponsors has been very supportive and wanted to contribute to a successful conference and exhibition. The next congress will be the Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry in Iceland in 2022. We hope to see many of you there. Congress cancellation
Due to the Covid-19 virus pandemic, the Nordic Congress of Medical Biochemistry 2020 is cancelled. The safety of the participants, speakers and sponsors is our highest priority. The pandemic and official restrictions have effectively forced us to cancel the congress in June 2020. We regret any inconvenience the cancellation may cause.
We believe that the 37th Nordic Congress in Medical Biochemistry would have been a great event. Many prominent speakers were willing to contribute to the scientific sessions and 90 submitted abstracts were accepted for poster presentation. The diagnostic industry and sponsors has been very supportive and wanted to contribute to a successful conference and exhibition.
We are currently considering the possibility to have a virtual conference. We also consider to have a physical conference in the spring of 2021, but the pandemic situation makes it difficult to plan for a physical conference at this time. Whatever happens, we hope to see many of you at the Nordic Congress in Clinical Chemistry in Iceland in 2022.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we currently do not know if the congress will be held as planned.
The deadline for registration at lowest rate has therefore been postponed to April 27th.

There are currently no plans to cancel the congress, but we monitor the situation closely and will follow the instructions given by the health authorities.

The delegate fees include the congress program and materials, lunch and coffee on Wednesday-Friday and welcome reception.
The day fee includes the program, lunch and coffee on one day and the congress materials.
Accompanying persons can buy tickets for the Opening Ceremony, Welcome reception and the Closing Dinner but not the scientific programme.
Personal data of the registered participants will be forwarded to the next congress organiser only if the permit is given.
Payment method
The payment should be done by a credit card (visa, MasterCard) at the time of registration. Registrations without a valid payment are not accepted.
ACCOMMODATION
The organisers have pre-booked hotel rooms at the conference hotel, Clarion Hotel Trondheim, and at Comfort Hotel Trondheim (walking distance from the congress venue) for the dates 9-12 June. We recommend you reserve accommodation when you register to guarantee the room.
