The welcome ceremony

The opening ceremony will take place at Fjellstua on Thursday, September 1st, 7.30 pm.

From Fjellstua

All participants are invited into this informal social event. The mayor of Ålesund, Eva Vinje Aurdal, will welcome you.  There will be live music with a string quartet and you will be served some finger food. This is a great place to mingle and talk with colleagues the first day of the conference.

The stairs from Fjellstua

You can walk with us to the top of Mt. Aksla. Fjellstua is located at the top of Aksla. We want as many as possible to climb the stairs, it doesn`t matter whether yoy`re fast or slow as long as you reach the top. (418 stairs, 15-30 minutes to walk) For those who do not want to climb the stairs, trasport will be organized.
