Mentaliseringsbasert gruppeterapi (MBT-G)

Del 1 Teori (kl 13.00 - 14.15): I denne workshopen vil en først gjennomgå terapeutiske prinsipper for MBT-G, slik de er nedfelt i norsk og engelsk utgave av «Manual for mentaliseringsbasert gruppeterapi». Prinsippene bygger på moderne teori om alvorlig personlighetsforstyrrelse (i første rekke borderline) og vil sammenlignes med prinsipper for gruppeanalyse og psykodynamisk gruppepsykoterapi. Presentasjonen vil illustreres av et video-klipp fra en gruppe.

Del 2 Praksis (kl. 14.30 – 15.45): Etter pause vil det være et rollespill av en MBT gruppe etterfulgt av diskusjon. Åtte deltakere fra publikum vil delta i gruppen, med rollekarakterer som har moderate til alvorlige personlighetsproblemer, og Sigmund Karterud vil være terapeut.


Mentalization-based group therapy (MBT-G). 

Part 1 Theory (13.00 pm – 14.15) In this workshop, the therapeutic principles for MBT-G will be explained, according to the Norwegian and English manual. The principles are based upon modern theories on severe personality disorders, primarily borderline PD, and they will be compared to principles for group analysis and psychodynamic group psychotherapy. The presentation will be illustrated by a video-clip from a patient group.

Part 2 Practice (Norwegian language) (14.30 pm – 15.45): After the pause there will be a MBT-G roleplay followed by a discussion. Eight participants from the audience will compose a group with role characters that display moderate to severe personality problems. Sigmund Karterud will act as group therapist.
